This highly recommended readable book covers a wide range of topics on how to make eco friendly changes to your home. It is a useful introduction to eco-renovation and including materials, methods and equipment. The level of details vary over the subjects. As you might expect in a book of this size (168 pages) there isn't room to cover all the subjects to a great depth. Luckily there are quite a few references to further reading and relevant websites.

3. Reducing heat loss
4. Heating
5. Electricity demand
6. Micro-generation
7. Water
8. Interiors
9. Waste and pollution
10. Exterior space and gardens

It also contains a useful glossary and a good index.

Note that there are no actual plans contained in the book so anyone wanting to do-it-themselves will have to develop their own plans or go to other sources for them.

We have also noticed some inacuracies (which we plan to document later) so we would recommend facts are cross checked with other sources.
