We will encourage the adoption of low cost solar heating, solar electricity, wind power and other renewable energy technologies by offering projects and plans for do-it-yourself installations. DIY methods generally have the advantage of lower cost which can significantly reduce the pay-back period. Also DIY energy projects can often use recycled materials which can make them even more eco-friendly.
For anyone daunted by the prospect of DIY alternative energy projects we will also discuss commercial products and services.
